Social Studies- Women's History Month Project List of Dates: March 19th- Select a famous woman that you are interested in researching. March 20th-Have researched and filled out "Early Life, Adulthood, and Notable Achievements" flaps March 21st-Have researched and filled out "Character Traits and Evidence" flaps March 22nd-Have researched and filled out "Questions I Would Like to Ask and About the Researcher" flaps March 23rd- Work on filling out the graphic organizer for the 5 paragraphs March 25th-Have the graphic organizer finished March 26th- Work on a rough draft of your 5 paragraphs March 27th-Have the rough draft finished (MUST be turned in with your finished folder) March 28th-Revise and edit your rough draft April 3rd-Write your final copy of the 5 paragraphs on the paper provided April 4th-Assemble your lap book folder April 5th-Review your lap book folder and make it your best work April 6th-Turn in your finished lap book folder, your graphic organizer, and rough draft "Post-It note" Reading with a book of the scholar's choice should be worked on for an approximate total of 100 minutes a throughout the entire week. (Example: 40 minutes Sunday, 10 minutes Monday, 10 minutes Tuesday, 20 minutes Wednesday, 10 minutes Thursday and 10 minutes on Friday equals 100 minutes) |
